Botany - Profile

The department of botany, government degree college, cheepurupalli, Vizianagaram District, was established in the year 2008, as result of sanction of science sections having C.B.Z (chemistry, botany, zoology) and M.P.C. (mathematics, physics, chemistry) groups. It was affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. Initially the department faced all the juvenile problems with regard to insufficient staff, accommodation, and laboratory equipment. But gradually the position improved in all the important aspects of the department.
